76 entities comply with the delivery of their Institutional Technology Plans

The National Authority for Government Innovation (AIG) reports that it has concluded the training process for 90 state entities to prepare them to develop their institutional technological plans, which includes three components: the Institutional Digital Agenda, the Operational Plan and the Institutional Simplification Plan.

This training was coordinated by the Institute of Technology and Innovation attached to the AIG, where through four training workshops the directors of technology and innovation of the State were prepared, in the conduct of strategic planning processes within each institution, to have as a result the annual development of three deliverable documents dictated by Law 144 that modifies and adds articles to Law 83 of 2012, on the use of electronic means for government procedures, and dictates other provisions.

The sanction of Law 144 of April 15, 2020 is part of the 125 priority actions of the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo, particularly in priority action N ° 4 called Panama Digital, which seeks to reduce excessive paperwork in government processes .

Currently 76 state entities have complied with the delivery of their Institutional Technology Plans, an action that for the AIG is satisfactory since it is the first time that the institutions coordinate efforts in technological matters, to follow up on the goals established in the Digital Agenda.
