Rapid Response Teams (ERR) and Unified Traceability Teams (EUT), work permanently to detect new cases and stop the transmission chain of Covid-19 in the province of Los Santos in a timely manner.
The work does not stop throughout the week with a swab stand next to MINSA Capsi in Las Tablas, where volunteers attend to take the test. In the same way, on Saturdays, the teams move to places frequented by the population of Santeña. Even the taking of samples and traceability is maintained on Sundays even in districts where total quarantine is maintained without working hours.
The timely detection of the Covid allows the rapid isolation of the patient and the traceability required for the search of their contacts is activated immediately.
The staff of the Promotion Department, in conjunction with the EUTs, make visits to patients in home isolation so that they receive medicines and food. In addition, they are guided on the safe development of quarantine to prevent the rest of the household members from being infected.
