IPEL 2021 Awards are promoted in Colón and La Chorrera


The Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (MITRADEL), continued this week with the days of promotion of the forty-first version of the National Competition IPEL Awards for Labor Culture in the provinces of Colón and Panama Oeste.

Jorge Murillo, deputy director of the Panamanian Institute of Labor Studies, highlighted that the IPEL Awards, highlights the art and working-class culture and each year chooses relevant events of the national events as well as the world of work as its motto. This year its motto is “The Bicentennial of the Republic, A Journey of 200 years in the Construction of Our Nation.

Those interested in participating in this contest have until June 18, 2021, to deliver their physical works (sculpture, crafts and painting) at the MITRADEL headquarters in Panama City or at all regional offices in the country, while The works of the categories of poetry, tenth, short story and photography will be sent through the digital platform of the institution.
