Distinguished nurses with the Ruth Pérez de Peré medal are recognized


For their trajectory, gallantry, exceptional dedication, initiative and proven humanitarian sense, the nurses Luz Milena Córdoba, Minerva Esther López de Aizprúa and Aliet Bósquez Ramos were honored with the Ruth Pérez de Peré medal.

The director of the CSS, Dr. Enrique Lau Cortés, when speaking, highlighted the gallantry of the nursing staff, who put aside daily and personal setbacks to face death, while trying to save lives.

"That is the example that I want to highlight, the self-denial that they practice every day, when despite their problems, they are able to rise above them, and serve humanity," he added.

The president of the Board of Directors, Magister Esmeralda Buchanan, said for her part that "to honor, honor" and thanked all the people who participated in the organization of this event in which, through the honored ladies, all the country's nurses.

Meanwhile, Magister Doris Blandón, CSS National Head of Nursing, affirmed that the nursing staff dresses up with the distinction of the award-winning nurses, which exalt this noble profession for their discipline.

The Ruth Pérez de Peré medal is a civil recognition granted under the initiative of the Board of Directors of the CSS, which was created by Resolution No. 14, 619-97-JD, of May 8, 1997 and has among its objectives to preponderate the values ??and vocation of service of those who practice the nursing profession.
