REQUIREMENTS FOR PASSPORT PROCESSING

The Panama Passport Authority (APAP), reiterates to the population the requirements that they must present at the time of requesting the process to obtain the Passport:

First time:

Birth certificate.
Three balboas on tax stamps or postage.
Valid ID.
Cost of B / .100.00 (discounts established by law apply).
Minors:

Birth certificate or juvenile ID.
Three balboas on tax stamps or postage. (If you present the youth identity card, you DO NOT need the stamps or the birth certificate).
Appearance of both parents with valid ID. (In the absence of one of the parents, bring a notarized authorization letter).
Cost of B / .100.00.
Renewal:

Passport expired or to expire.
Valid ID.
Minors accompanied by both parents. (In the absence of one of the parents, bring a notarized authorization letter).
Cost of B /. 100.00 (discounts established by law apply).
