AIG highlights initiative for the creation of the Vacunatón 20-30 self-rapid

Currently, eight self-rapid Vaccination 20-30 are in operation at the national level, an action that has allowed immediate and efficient access to vaccines against Covid-19.


The National Authority for Government Innovation (AIG), as part of the PANAVAC-19 team, thanked the members of the Active Club 20-30 for their outstanding work in the installation of the 20-30 Vaccination at the national level, a project that allowed the streamlining of the vaccination process in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Eng. Luis Oliva, General Administrator of the AIG highlighted that with the support in logistics matters and an effective organization of the members of the Active Club 20-30, innovation has been implemented in the vaccination process, an action that has allowed significant progress in the Continuous Vaccination Plan.

For his part, Giacomo Tamburrelli, President of the Active 20-30 Club, pointed out that it has been an honor to be part of the solution in times of pandemic. "We have left part of our lives in this voluntary work, which is why we call on all of us as a society to move towards working for the country," said the president of this Club.

The activity had the participation of Dr. Luis Francisco Sucre, Minister of Health; Dr. Eyra Ruíz, Minister Counselor for matters related to public health and Dr. Enrique Lau Cortés, General Director of the Social Security Fund.

Also participating were Eusebia de Copete, Head of Nurses at the Ministry of Health; Itzel Hewitt, Coordinator of the Expanded Immunization Program and Doris Blandón, National Head of Nursing of the Social Security Fund.

Self-speeding at the national level

Currently, 200 thousand doses have been applied in eight auto-rapid plants located in the province of Veraguas in Santiago Mall; in Chiriquí at the David International Fair; while for Herrera and Los Santos it was set up on the grounds of the Azuero Fair.

For the province of Coclé, the autorápido is located on Boulevard Penonomé and in Panama Oeste it is located at the La Chorrera Fair.

In the province of Colón, it was installed at the Enrique Adolfo Jiménez Airport; in Bocas del Toro at the Calvin Byron Stadium and in Panama, the Rommel Fernández Stadium.
