ADDITIONAL CREDITS APPROVED TO COVER PAYMENTS TO PRODUCERS, SUPPLIERS AND PURCHASE FIRST NECESSITY FOODS

The general director of the Agricultural Marketing Institute (IMA), Carlo Rognoni, supported, before the Budget Commission of the National Assembly, an additional credit for a total of 36.2 million balboas.

This amount, Rognoni reported, will cover pending payments to producers and suppliers for an amount of B/.16,266,904 and the acquisition of essential foods that will be sold in IMA farm stores, agro-distributors and agro-fairs for B/.19,973,340.

Both requests were approved by the members of the commission, which will allow the IMA to meet financial commitments and guarantee the supply of basic foods to the population.
