he Design, Construction, Rehabilitation and Financing of Streets and Roads project in the Boquerón district, executed by the Ministry of Public Works, has reached a physical progress of 53.22 percent.

As part of this project, the MOP is currently carrying out work on the street that begins on the Pan-American Highway (CPA), near the bridge over the Chico River to the San Pablo Viejo, San Carlos, Guaca and Los Anastacios ring road, between the district of David and Dolega in the province of Chiriquí.

The works consist of priming and base layer compaction activities. So far there has been 50% progress in the placement of the asphalt layer.

Anselmo Moreno, technician of the MOP Inspection Supervision in Chiriquí, explained that a vehicular bridge has been installed over the Caimito ravine, 20 meters long with a width of 9.40 meters, including a pedestrian crossing.

Likewise, he reported that a bridge is being built over the Chirigagua River 35 meters long and 9.40 meters wide and its corresponding pedestrian sidewalk.

Likewise, progress is being made with the construction of a bridge over the Balsa ravine, with a length of 30 meters and a width of 9.40 meters, also with its respective pedestrian crossing.

The significant progress of this project not only promises an improvement in mobility and road infrastructure in Boquerón, but also reflects the Ministry of Public Works' commitment to the development and well-being of local communities throughout the country.
