In order to continue and sustain self-management projects, the Basilio Lakas de Colón Custody and Compliance Center established active participation alliances with the Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA), the Ministry of Public Works (MOP), the Authority of the Aquatic Resources of Panama (ARAP) and the Manzanillo Internacional Terminal company, achieving an agreement of commitment and support.

As a result of this integration, training in agronomy was obtained for 13 adolescents in conflict with criminal law, the reactivation of the farm with fields of cucumber, cabbage, peppers, tomatoes, squash, 209 pineapple seedlings and 25 pigeon peas, 182 chickens. layers and 35 fattening hens and an approximate of 3 thousand tilapia.

In the same way, a topographic study of the adjacent river, the field and all the buildings that are within the farm area was carried out for the graphic survey of the structural elements and other study areas at the points of interest and thus avoid flooding. that could affect the projects.

Cristóbal Góndola Laguna, National Director of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies (IEI), indicated that these programs encourage young people to learn trades that can be useful to them once they have completed their compliance period and at the same time provide benefits for them, as well as for the center while remaining in it.
