The Ibermúsicas program of which Panama is a part represented by the Ministry of Culture of Panama (MiCultura) makes all agents in the music sector available to present projects from June 15 to October 1, 2024, according to the lines of aid that have been contemplated for its cycle of calls.
This includes seven defined supports focused on the circulation of music professionals, musical programming, assistance to artists and researchers for residencies, institutions for residencies, artistic and technical specialization and improvement, virtual projects and the promotion of the Ibero-American repertoire.
Likewise, the opening ceremony has also been made for four awards, including the Ibermúsicas Award for songs for childhood, the Ibermúsicas Award for choral work composition, the Brazil – Ibermúsicas Award, and the Peru – Ibermúsicas Award in tribute to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Nicomedes Santa. Special call Ibermúsicas – Mid Atlantic Arts, for Ibero-American artists in the United States and Travels through music in the Portuguese language, Portuguese-speaking countries are two other assistance to musical creatives that this invitation brings to Ibero-American musicians.

Panama joined the Ibermúsicas Program since 2016 where support has been provided to more than 40 actors in the music sector, promoting musical creation, promoting and strengthening musical projects with the aim of strengthening the Ibero-American musical ecosystem.
