Celebrating Children's Day with family

This Sunday, the President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, accompanied the first lady, Maricel de Mulino, in the celebration of Children's Day: “Around the World in a Day”, organized in conjunction with the mayor of the capital district , Mayer Mizrachi.

“We are very happy to see thousands of boys and girls enjoying this great day as a family; We thank all the sponsors who have made this activity possible, the first of many others that the first lady will organize, thinking about the well-being of the family," said President Mulino, after taking a walk through Parque Omar.

The president also thanked the ambassadors accredited in Panama, who set up tents alluding to each of the countries they represent, organizing recreational activities for the more than 20 thousand people who attended.    

Accompanying this celebration were the ministers of the Presidency, Social Development and Labor, Juan Carlos Orillac, Beatriz Carles and Jackeline Muñoz, respectively; as well as the manager of the Colón Free Zone, Luisa Napolitano.
