The Kiwanis Club of Panama announces to the Sports Media that it has everything ready for the traditional KIWANIS Walk Race - 2024, scheduled for Sunday, June 2, 2024 and will have the Cinta Costera 2 as its route; starting from the Sea Bridge.
The event ensures awards and commemorative medals for the sporting event that reaches 40 consecutive years, supporting Panamanian children, also commemorating the 90 years of Caja de Ahorros.
Caja de Ahorros has been supporting sports in Panama for more than a decade, promoting this tool for social transformation, sowing values, skills and healthy habits.
These banking, sports and social initiatives provide opportunities for men and women to be leaders and multiplying agents, to have a better future in Panama. This is the third consecutive year that “El Banco de la Familia Panamaneña” is the official sponsor of the iconic run-walk of the Kiwanis Club of Panama.
The race has a distance of 1, 5 and 10 kilometers that will start at 6:30 a.m., prior to the 10-minute warm-up for all participants in one of the great classic road athletics events in Panama.
The sporting activity will feature the participation of experienced runners of both genders, as well as students and professionals in the running activity of all ages, with prizes for the first three places in each category.
