Seeking to revolutionize its work methods and strengthen its relationships with taxpayers, the General Directorate of Revenue (DGI) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) develops various projects in acquisition and implementation to optimize tax management.

These actions are aimed at a significant digital transformation, adopting advanced technologies to enhance their services and improve efficiency in tax management.

One of the key projects is the contracting of services for the design, development and implementation of a Comprehensive Taxpayer Service Management and Collection Management (CRM) Solution. This project's central objective is to unify the interaction with taxpayers through an integrated digital platform. It is expected to improve the quality of service and resolution capacity through the implementation of an artificial intelligence system, including a chatbot designed to anticipate user needs and offer quick and accurate responses.

Another strategic project is the improvement in data exploitation, through specialized consulting services. The aim is to design, develop and implement an exploitation control model and analysis of data from various sources, such as electronic invoices and tax returns. The application of data science algorithms and Machine Learning techniques will enhance data processing capabilities, generating valuable information to guide tax control strategies and management.

Additionally, the DGI is making investments in technological infrastructure to improve operational efficiency and information security. The adoption of the latest technologies, including software engineering and containerization of services, will enable a more efficient and scalable operation, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering continuous innovation.

These projects represent a significant step for the General Directorate of Revenue, positioning it as a modern and efficient institution, capable of adapting to technological changes and improving the experience for both taxpayers and tax authorities.

We are leaving a good seed, that in the coming years the tax administration and the country will be able to reap good fruits to promote better collection and a closer and more efficient relationship with taxpayers, indicated general director Publio De Gracia.
