Registration begins for the INADEH 2024 Hackathon

The National Institute of Vocational Training and Training for Human Development (INADEH) began registration for the INADEH 2024 Hackathon, an innovation event where entrepreneurs who graduated from INADEH meet to create and design innovative solutions to identified problems. The solutions must have a social impact in specific communities and must be replicable in other areas.

The solutions must have a social impact in specific communities and must be replicable in other areas.

How can I participate in the INADEH Hackathon?

Until June 7, the call will be open at the national level so that INADEH graduates who are interested in entrepreneurship or who have a business can participate in the competition. To participate you must click on the form: Hackathon 2024

How is the selection process?

After completing the form and answering some basic questions that will allow them to classify or not, they will receive virtual training in Creation of innovative ventures.

Entrepreneurs will have to pass short knowledge testing exercises; In the end, the entrepreneurs who obtain the best scores and complete all the training modules will be classified.  

The classified entrepreneurs who are from the interior of the country will travel to Panama to participate in the Hackathon. Travel and lodging expenses will be assumed by INADEH.

Stages of the INADEH Hackathon

TEAM CONFORMATION: 3 entrepreneurs will be selected for each Province of the country. The teams are expected to be as heterogeneous as possible, in terms of the nature of each entrepreneur's business.

PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT: Once the teams are formed, an initial idea will begin to be developed together: a brainstorming session is carried out to collect possible strategies and different solutions to put them into practice.

MENTORING: Each group of entrepreneurs will be accompanied by one or two mentors who will support them to advance in a structured way in the process of creating solutions.

PITCH ELEVATOR: Entrepreneurs must develop a pitch with which they will sell their project idea to the event juries. Each pitch may have a maximum duration of 5 minutes and the format will be explained during the presentation of the event.

AWARDS CEREMONY: The event ends with a recognition ceremony for the best teams/solutions. A jury chooses the best projects/ideas and awards will be given.
