Meduca and Innova Nation present entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability initiative for a thousand students

Innova offers various types of educational programs, events, challenges and innovation, which are framed in the three pillars throughout the country and has impacted more than 15 thousand students and visited more than 200 schools in the official and private sectors. In addition, they have worked on more than 100 alliances with public and private companies in favor of education.


The Innova 1000 initiative, which will integrate a thousand students from the country in the main programs such as: entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability, in which young people between 14 and 18 years old who study between eighth and twelfth grades will be able to participate, was this Tuesday, May 21 .

The founder and director of InnovaNation, Karin Sempf, explained that these plans are offered in a hybrid way (in-person and virtual), in various educational regions and children between 10 and 13 years old, who attend between fifth and seventh grades of education, were encouraged. general basic, to participate in the project 'Be a superhero for the planet'.

Through collaboration with the Ministry of Education (Meduca), calls, promotion and visits to schools are made, for the selection of students and official and private educational establishments.

The Minister of Education, Maruja Gorday de Villalobos, explained that for three years projects have been carried out with Innova Nation, aimed at strengthening education in sustainable development, with a public policy generated in this administration.

STEAM education and robotics also have the public policy 294 of digital transformation and, above all, the issues linked to entrepreneurship, business culture and the only thing left is scalability over time and the generation of budgets in educational investment.

In the last three years, Innova Nation has worked collaboratively with Meduca, seeking to transform Panamanian education. Through various innovative programs, we have sought to improve educational quality with the implementation of project-based learning methodology and modern educational tools, which encourage critical thinking, creativity and problem solving in students. We also integrate technology to enhance learning, collaboration and access to information.
