Ninth version of the 2024 National Spelling Bee opens registrations

The organizers of the ninth National Spelling Bee 2024 announced that, as of May 15, registration will begin for all 4th grade students. to 6th. primary education degree from official and private schools throughout the country and these culminate on June 30.

 

The National Coordinator of the Contest, Iriela Montes, said that as the basis of the contest the most important thing is to obtain the novel 'The Little Coral of Miss Collignon', they have a month and a half to read it and enrich themselves with the story, which they consider wonderful.

 

The competition consists of three phases, the first is the eliminatory; the second, the motivation tours in which the finalists will travel to the city for five days, staying in a hotel, participating in workshops for their preparation; and, the third, the grand final that will take place on October 10 at the Balboa theater.

 

The Spelling Bee consists of enhancing spelling by spelling each letter of a pronounced word. With this activity we are looking for students who can spell words, without making mistakes, in the shortest time possible.
