Panama hands over Pro-Tempore presidency of the Central American Drinking Water and Sanitation Forum

Panama handed over the Pro-Tempore Presidency of the Central American and Dominican Republic Forum on Drinking Water and Sanitation (FOCARD) to the Dominican Republic.

From January 1 to June 30, 2024, Panama assumed the Pro-Tempore Presidency of the Central American and Dominican Republic Forum on Drinking Water and Sanitation (FOCARD).

It was up to Architect Madeline Delgado, deputy national coordinator of the Central American and Dominican Republic Forum on Drinking Water and Sanitation, to hand over the presidency where she stated that Panama ended with 100% execution of the Work Action Plan approved by the Central American Council and Dominican Republic of drinking water and sanitation (CONCARD-APS).

It will be up to the Dominican Republic to assume the presidency for the second half of 2024.

The FOCARD-APS is an organization of the Central American Integration System, which is based on national efforts to improve the coverage and quality of Drinking Water and Sanitation services, uniting the efforts of the governing entities that define sectoral policies and action frameworks.
