President Mulino nominated Javier Suárez and Arturo Araúz as administrator and deputy administrator of the Panama Pacific Agency

The President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, nominated architect Javier Suárez Pinzón and Arturo Araúz as administrator and deputy administrator, respectively, of the Panama Pacifico Agency, the entity in charge of developing the multimodal and logistics park of Panama Pacifico (former military base of Howard). Both nominations must go through the ratification process of the National Assembly. 

Suárez has a bachelor's degree in architecture from the Isthmus University school of design and architecture, and a master's degree in design and architecture from the Elisava school of design and engineering in Barcelona.

During his professional career of 10 years of experience, Suárez has worked as an Operational Manager, Controller and Architect.

He was operational manager of the Suárez Pinzón Group, project coordinator architect at the Fémur Arquitectura firm, and controller at the Dermoestética Clinic.

Meanwhile, Arturo Araúz has a degree in Business Administration from the Santa María la Antigua University. Founder of the Arturo Arauz Group of Companies, dedicated to Customs Services and Cargo Logistics.

Araúz has served as president of the Association of Grocery Merchants of Panama (ACOVIPA), secretary and president in charge of the National Council of Private Enterprise (CONEP), founding member of the National Association of Advertisers (ANDA), main director in the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama, member of the organizing commission of Expocomer and Expologística, and deputy director of the Transit and Land Transportation Authority.
