The commitment note was signed by the Minister of Education, Maruja Gorday de Villalobos, and the education specialist of the UNESCO Regional Office, Ricardo Martínez, which seeks to maximize the opportunity for these 64 schools to take part in training, seminars and workshops, in favor of the programs and projects that are developed in the future.

These programs are developed in the implementation of the educational policy towards education for sustainable development, established by Law 378 of May 3, 2023, which establishes guidelines for the implementation of educational policies for sustainable development.

The Congress on Education for Sustainable Development aimed to present actions related to education for sustainable development.
