They carry out final finishes for delivery of the “Mickey” Sierra housing complex in San Miguelito

The Miguel “Mickey” Sierra housing complex remains 93% complete, is in final details and is expected to be delivered in the coming weeks, reported the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning (Miviot), through the Directorate of Engineering and Architecture. .

This project, developed in the heart of the San Miguelito district, in the community of Santa Marta, district of Belisario Frías, will house a total of 400 low-income families, including older adults and people with disabilities.

In addition to having 400 two- and three-bedroom apartments, it has complementary buildings for offices of the Mortgage Bank, the Center for Comprehensive Early Childhood Care (Caipi), a multipurpose sports field, a sewage treatment plant, a water reserve tank. drinking water, parking for people with disabilities and residents.

People with disabilities and older adults with reduced mobility problems will be located in the housing solutions on the ground floor.

The regional director of Miviot of Panama East, Celima García, took a tour where she could see that the buildings have been painted in their entirety and concrete is being poured for the completion of perimeter sidewalks, cutting of tubes for the railings, and water tests and electricity.

The Benemérito Fire Department of Panama approved its occupation and it is expected that the municipality of the district of San Miguelito will provide the necessary permits for its formal delivery to the beneficiaries.

With the delivery of the residential work, which has five towers with striking colors, more than 40 years of not carrying out social housing projects in San Miguelito will end.
